Abbot Eden is a historic home from the 1800’s, located in the community of Andover, Massachusetts and is within walking distance to the vibrant downtown shops and restaurants in the area. The overall design concept for this project was inspired by the simple and unique charm of this antique residence, and driven by the client’s desire for us to design a private space of respite and peaceful relaxation.

Fulfilling style & elegance, the space is centered around the pool, a multi-person dining area, a spa and is surrounded by a lush yard and integrated planting areas that reflect the seasonal changes through their color and texture. The traditional styling of this project, with its bluestone deck paving, reflect the elegance, scale and aesthetic of the home that overlooks it.

Working directly with the client, through ongoing and personal interaction, we were able to achieve their overall vision, incorporating a collaborative effort with the architect and general contractors during the entire project. The result is an elegant space, seamlessly integrated, and allowing for a complete outdoor living experience.
